hex west of Brest

How do you get supply to the island to the hex east of Brest? I rebased a plane there and now cannot rebase it off.

No. Air supply gives you very little and there is not enough land in range to supply it.

You need a min. amount of supply in order to SR and that threshold is pretty high.

For Re-basing you need less but still allot. The only way to get any decent supply is to use ships.

Read up on the supply part in the manual.

I was posing the question, more as a suggestion that air supply could be more effective in these cases. Air units and Parachute units, which are already air oriented and have less need of the masses of supply needed by larger military units, which have thousands of men and vehicles to support and that only naval supply can provide.

Otherwise, it's not a big item, just useful to know when basing air units.[:)]

Air units use a lot of fuel and heavy ordanance. Supplying ammo, fuel, and spares by air is REALLY difficult and wasteful.

The problem is not so much supply to operate the unit, but the supply level to re-base it away from that hex. [:)]
