RAGE

Post by doomtrader »

I love apocalyptic games and I really like to shoot at something from time to time.
So when Game Stop offered RAGE for 15 $ I decided it is finally must buy.

Until now, worth every penny. I really enjoyed Borderlands (finished it once) and like the new Fallouts (as a separate entities not as part 1 and 2 descendants). But for now I think that RAGE has got most action packed in it. I might say this game is instant action. Not too hard, not too easy.

Views and locations are really well done. World is somehow opened but I'm trying to stick to the main story and finishing side quests from time to time. Most of them are go and kill or ride and kill. Cool.

Currently it is 8/10 on my list.

If you like the genre, give it a try. If not, you can find something better.

BTW: It is not RPG

Wow it's still 50 on Steam... so not too bad. I've played Fall Out to the death, easily 200 hours per game (Fall Out 3 and New Vegas both) so I'm looking for a good shooter now.

The funny thing is that I'm not able to buy it directly on Steam as I'm from Poland, and for this location the game is locked. Of course after buying it at GS and installed, the game has linked with my Steam account.

Lots of shooting in this game.

Worth $15 easy. Didn't live upto the hype. HOWEVER it's still a decent game.

I loved Fallout 3. I had to have had at least 150 hours in that game.
After 16 years, Civ II still has me in it's clutches LOL!!!
Now CIV IV has me in it's evil clutches!

It is a little bit different than F3, but the world is pretty similar, the main difference is the transportation between locations.

Good game, but a completely anti-climactic ending.
