Anyone else have problems with Plimus?

Post by lotharr51 »

I placed an order with my USAA credit card and I'm told I will receive an update as things develop?

5 or 10 years ago this may have been acceptable, but today this is a sign of incompetence either by policy or technology. In either case, there is a leadership problem. I have never had this kind of problem with any other online vendor....ever. Really, really disappointed.

Yeah, I could give a damn about the virtues of patience, this is 2012 and dealing with a simple transaction and well established parties and practices: USAA and Mastercard....

It gets better. So the transaction is charged to my account on USAA as PLIMUS INTERNATIONAL L; however, I haven't even received an email that this transaction ever happened. Yes, I checked my junk folder.

Since it's amateur hour at the store, I opened a help ticket.

I never could get a re-download of Storm over the Pacific for my laptop, with Plimus telling me the problem was not on their end. I ended up making a folder off of my desktop, burned it to a CD and installed it that way. I was not happy. I remember Baird having the same problem.

I'm hesitate to order again.

If you have any problems please contact us as we'll issue you new download links. Plimus support is still under training on how to deal with our account and unofrtunately make mistakes from time to time.

RAWR!

Need to get those automated processes executing correctly, then you don't have deal with jerks like me.

I opened a ticket and they are sorting me out. I appreciate the rapid communication and decisive workaround.
