Jap midget sub carriers.....where?

Post by larryfulkerson »

Hey you guys.....this is an info panel for a Jap sub and it's carrying a midget sub. How can I tell from this panel that it IS in fact carrying one? Or better yet.....how can I tell which of the Jap subs CAN carry one? I'd really rather not go through all the subs trying to find one that can carry one by trying to assign it the mission Midget Sub Carrier.

EDIT: And yes, I do have graphics glitches. I've been living with them because of the fabulous nature of this great game.

You can't tell from the ship screen if a sub is carrying a midget; that's done on the TF screen.

Also, only the C1 boats can carry them. That J1 can't.

Larry -

Welcome to AE; we are glad that you have joined us.

The submarines I-16,18,20,22 and 24 are the midget carriers. If you look in game at the Task Force screen you will find them at Pearl Harbor.

Hope this helps!

Mac

Much thanks everybody. I'm having a blast with this game. I finally dove into the PBEM pool and am working on my moves as we speak.

Here's the shortcut switches I'm using.

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -w -px1440 -py900 -cpu2 -dd_sw

What are you using?

Hello

-cpu4 –multiaudio –dd_sw

But I am using a Intel quad core cpu...

What happens when only using this

-cpu2 -dd_sw

or

-cpu2 –multiaudio –dd_sw

or only

–dd_sw

Hey Omat: even with just "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -w -px1440 -py900 -dd_sw
I still have graphics glitches. It's alright, I can live with it. But thanks though.
