Port Hedrand: Big LYB raid on our AK's unloading suppries. We coulda used a few more F4F's or P-38's. Even so, trading Bettys and their pilots for damaged AK's is an OK bargain. Cap .. I move SC's from EC to WC via the canal ... from Cristobal the 1500 endurance runs out one hex away from San Diego where they are towed in and in two days back to full operational value. I have found these 1500 endurance SC's to be great annoyances to the IJN submarines as they oftern try and fire a torp with little chance of success ..[8D] I have 16 in 4 groups of 4 running patrols in my merchant lanes around the ports ..
