Now, I'm not American, but those Germans (and Dutch too) that travel north to Scandinavia seem to me to be obsessed with elks, wolfs and the nature in general. Though I guess those are overwhelmingly city-dwellers from the Ruhr and other places where industry and urbanisation are widespread. [:D]

Give it a few months to get prepared, take the usual northern route through Belgium, and we'll all be home before the leaves fall.

I once had 5 minute discussion with a German woman in German, despite the fact that my German language skills were straight from "Commando Comics" of childhood.
