I get something like this every once in a while. I will be moving through air screens and suddenly I am looking at a Japanese air group (and I am allied). Never been able to reproduce it and so I just click off the screen and go about my merry way.

Same here. IIRC it happened several times when I transfered a squadron from a carrier at sea to a base.
