Looks like the Kiwis are trying to do some lebensraum.

The fragment has lost its unit type so has defaulted to AF. And is hiding the base under it from access.
Have seen this once before.

Attach a zip of the save and I can clear it for you.
I thought that the current version (r9) would have fixed that up.

Michael -
Here is a save from a third party. Rangoon has the same problem as above.

PM if you need password.

PS. r9 version

Interesting--similar (and maybe the same problem) for me with Darwin. Attached is what I see if I hover the mouse; but if I click on Darwin, the base display at the bottom of the screen appears briefly, but then reverts to only the bottom three lines (ships, ground units, industry), and I can't reach the general base screen. However, if I click on the airfiled icon, I can select an air unit and then the entire base screen become available. I still cannot, however, set Darwin as a home port for task forces (except for the ones created there that default to Darwin as home port); when I try to set Darwin as a home port for others, I get a message "must be friendly base".

Same problem or different; and can it be fixed? Thanks for any help!

And just to complicate the situation a little more:

1. If I select a TF and try to change the home port to Darwin by clicking on the base symbol, I get the "must be friendly base" message.

2. If I select a TF and try to change the home port to Darwin by clicking on the anchor of the base symbol, all is fine.

Thank you, Michael. Save attached.

Note that I added a .zip extension to get it to upload, but it is NOT a zip file.

Does anyone have a save of when the unit 'hides' the base? one turn it was okay, next turn like a base???

Both instances had a unit type of 6 (which is undefined) even though a proper LCU suffix existed. Seems something is changing the unit type, but I can't see anything obvious.

Michael, let me check; there is a decent chance I can find "before and after" saves.
