Off-map captures

The prntscrn attached [hopefully] shows off-map cities can be captured. Wish I coulda done that with witp! The scenario version is GC41 1.06.04. 'Bug' first observed in version 1.04.something.

I never did check to see if the production figures/manpower captures actually affected the game (whether the ownership flag actually matters w/ off-maps) but thought you peeps might be interested all the same. Novosibirsk, for reference, is loc #1115 0,49, as Omsk.

Which reminds me of another oddity in that the Hungarian FW189/190's are produced in a native Soviet city (which makes me think all the more that the controller flag is unimportant vis a off-map's, or perhaps it's for hungarian surrender/capture latewar?
Could be WAD for the most part of course.

Whilst I stated that other off map locations can be captured in latest release this is presumed rather tested, that was true in a previous version, and finding that one can prompts me to think the others still can also.

Huge game-breaking flaws aside (/joke), thanks for some srsly superb games, 2x3.

Can you track down to the save when it first happened and try to replicate it? What version you started to play? Is this AI or H2H game?

Another good way to filter all captured location would be in Commander's Report. Go to the Location tab, filter to display captured/off-map.
