Is it worth it?

Conquest!, developed by Illustrious Software and The Lordz Games Studio, is a turn-based game where the objective is to conquer up to 5 opposing players (either AI players or other human players) by defeating their armies and capturing their lands - to do this you will need to unite all of your lands, build up a powerful economy, and raise armies to defend the homeland and to take lands from your enemies. The game is set in medieval times and has a number of game modes available.

Conquest ! Medieval Realms, will be packed with hours and hours of clever fun-packed, brain-bending strategy gaming.

Is it worth it?

Post by rodney727 »

I passed on this game when it came out on the pc but I am really thinking about it for my iPad. Is it worth it? It is tempting...

I will answer my own question. For a 1.99 I just purchased it.

I was about to say Rogo, if you like quick and challenging strategy games, Conquest is definitely a worthwhile purchase. It's like super Risk to me, with some added strategic options. Not to mention it is easy to play, so if you have some young wargamers that are looking to start moving up, pass the game to them :)

Yup, I just bought it too for my Android tablet. May try to side load it on my Kindle Fire and test if it works there also.

Does it allow you save a game in progress? I didn't find that feature in the beta.

thanks.

There is no save in mission but it should multi task pretty well so just leave it running.

Frankly, the game needs a save option. Leaving it running in the background, in my mind, isn't a good solution.

I thought it saved to icloud, but it didn't. I like the game so far, I gave the game a chance and I'm glad I did

The only Matrix game I've managed not to buy. The demo had me completely puzzled. But I least there is/was a demo, which is appreciated.

You should give it a try. It's different for sure.

I bought it...it seriously needs a save game feature. Its fun and while I am glad I did not purchase it for PC, it is one of the better android purchases I have made.

I've tried the suggestion of not turning the game off instead of having a save feature, but it seems to be unreliable at best. Frequently, I just get a black screen when I try to reopen the program. Definately needs the option to save.

Currently there is no save game feature...you play your game to the end or leave it running in the background. The more I play the more this is frustrating and I would not suggest buying the game until a Save game is implemented...unless you just want to support android development by Matrix/Slitherine and the devs (which I do).
Kind Regards,

Harry

Save replay will be implemented in the near future, as it seems it is much requested.
