Hi Larry, are you getting any spoilage in the home islands as well?
So far Tracker lists only two locations that have spoilage and I think maybe I can reroute an AK or two to those locations and fix the problemo. I expect that I too am going to have to move some engineers into those locations to build them up enough to make the fix permanent.

Usually with my changes to R&D,airframes and engines I'm forced to suffer through a little spoilage until engineers get in place. I have some screens of home island engineers and all the starting forces that need to be shipped out at Palau, Samah, Pescedores ,Cam Rahn Bay and so on... Also included would be unrestricted units that start in the home islands. I print them and use them to write on and plan. It won't be until later today but I can post them here if you feel like it will help your game .
Yeah, hell yeah, post those bad boys........I'm pretty sure that us new guys will put them to good use. And thank you.

That small Allied TF near Singers is gone now. The landings are no longer threatened. Well, maybe by subs, but.....

Another instance of a lucky encounter involving dud Allied torpedoes. I gotta remember that spot has a sub in it.

It appears that the landings at Wake are in jepardy. At the very least they are going to need reinforcement. And that's a lot of firepower the Allies have there.

Those two DD's that were threatening the landings at the north end of PI are disappeared. DD Pillsbury is definately sunk and I'm pretty sure about DD Pope too. Pope wasn't listed in the list of ships sunk but I think it was sunk. Anyway, the landings have started and I'm moving some planes and engineers that direction now.

An excellent example showcasing why your AARs are such a pleasure to read. You go to much trouble to annotate -- using abundant tooltips, white transparent text, highlighting boxes, arrows & other pointers, etc. -- your observations on map. And many, many maps there are. A picture [map] is truly worth a thousands words. And the animations you sometimes use -- worth another thousand? Bravo!

Hi, if I can give you an advice, try not to bomb the bases with oil wells,
for obvious reasons (damage, fire).

You guys were correct about the phantom sightings around Pearl. I'm putting the KB back together and heading over to Wake to sweep the Wildcats and maybe ground pound a bit and then next stop will be Midway to investigate that a little. Maybe I should try landing a few troops on Midway. Who knows.......it could work. And I'm breaking up that gaggle of subs around Pearl. I have a bunch of them headed to the West Coast to maybe stop up some ports. Like SFO and SAN and LAX.

You're welcome Berto dude. I've decided to save the previous turns so I can animate ships moving from here to there. It's worth a try.

Really good advice.......thanks muchly. And I'm suspecting that the same advice goes for bombarding those hexes as well. Yes?

Several items:

1 - The IJA RF guns are anti-tank, not artillery, so will not bombard.

2 - I try to use IJN CA, instead of BB, to bombard as they can reload quickly at Cam Ranh Bay (or Saigon).

3 - Try using the "list all land units" button to find the 12th Division. In my PBEM game (scenario 1) it started in Yenki, so should be there unless you moved it.

Oh. Well, that explains that. Thanks.

Excellent idea. How come I didn't think of that.

Ah so.........I found it. Thanks. That clears up most of my questions for the next 1/2 hour.

Larry,
Thats very similar to my Wake Is invasion
1) The replenishment oiler is very necessary if you take the KB to Wake.
2) I got into a attrition battle over Wake - didnt understand how the Wildcats kept flying, but I was running out of supply/fuel & KB was needed in the SW Pacific...sooo
3) Hope you do better than I did... your combat results look very good!

WAY COOL BEANS !!! Thanks for that SuluSea dude. I'll put those to good use immediately.

A couple of Allied subs popped up right in the path of my PI landings. I guess we're about to find out if an xAK can outrun an Allied sub.
