Cannot Enter Posted Game

Not sure if this is a problem of mine, a Slitherine issue, or a game issue.

I can play just fine. I can accept games via Slitherine that someone else has set up. My games in progress run along perfectly.

I cannot, however, play games that I have posted a challenge for.

I can select, say 1941-1945 campaign game and select to play as the German. I post it, and it shows just fine.

People can apparently accept this challenge. When, however, I hit play for that game, the screen jumps to just the slightest degree and the game screen goes black for a minute or two. Eventually, a Soviet logistics screen comes up with pretty much "0" in all the fields.

This has occured twice with me setting up to play as German in 41-45.

This has popped up as a problem in the last 2 weeks or so. I am on the 1.6 or whatever version it is, not the newest, but 2nd to newest.

The only option I have is to resign those games....I am feeling kind of guilty as it must seem as if I am stiffing the guys who signed on to play as Soviet.

Any ideas?

You could try reinstalling. Usually when one can accept but not start games it has to do with firewall's but some of the other things going on for you make me think this may not be the issue. I don't really have a clue. I'll email the Slitherine network guys and see if they have any ideas.
