Game running slow

Hi,

finally got my lad up and running with his own copy of TLD so after a bit of messing about we got an internet game going only the game ran extremely slow the clock had only ticked down 1 min after about 10 mins had passed.... any ideas??

Does the game run at normal speed when you play single player? It could be that the host has the game speed set to slow -- check your game options.
 
It is also possible that you&nbsp;have a very slow connection.&nbsp; In multi-player&nbsp;Close Combat the simulation is kept in sync between the two players, but it would take a pretty impressive amount of lag before I would expect to see a 10:1 speed ratio.&nbsp; You might try using a 'ping' command (Go to your Windows start menu and enter "cmd.exe" to start a command prompt, then type "ping <your friend's IP address") to see how slow the connection is.
