Refueling idea

Post by slane_slith »

As I was playing I got to wondering if there was any way to add a refueling “tab” to the base screen.

You would be able to choose whether a ship would be able to get minimal, tactical, full, etc. by setting it at each base rather than with each individual TF. That way if you forget to set it with a TF you won’t wipe out your fuel supply at a base.

Just an idea. Thanks for the time.

This is a very very good idea because the concept of using the button is not so much the TF but teh base trying to conserve fuel. But I assume the designers have the notion of just what you describe. "A ticket if you forget to click" Maximize the details and things that if forgotten have consequinces rather than simpify the UI.

New air units arrive/start with 40% training maximum range . forget about them and do not click . in about 20 or so turns the operational losses will start ..

The point being is that I think this is what the game is all about .. attention to detail and ..mouse clicks .. [8D]

Detail to help add authenticity is one thing but making something a chore just to have something to do is something else in my mind. In real life a message to a base commander stating give out no more than minimum is not beyond reason and that could be modeled with a fuel command on the base screen.

That is a good idea.

It makes a lot of sense, and it would save a lot of clicks, and fuel from my forgotten settings.
