10/43 US BB upgrade/conversion question

Post by pmattiasn »

Hi all,

In 10/43 some older US BBs (e.g. New Mexico class) can either upgrade or convert to another BB class. What is the difference between these two? I have in the past been a bit random in this so thought I take the chance to get it right now that I have a game going at that point.

Actually, what I'm most interested is the end state of these ships if I go down the "conversion" track, the end state of the normal upgrades I can see...

I know I have seen this before, but can't find it. And for some reason my editor that came with the game has stopped working (both versions of it) so can't look at that either...

Cheers,

Mattias

The 1.1 inch are removed and replaced by 40mm. Some 20mm are added.

That's it? Do you by any chance know what the AA rating for the final upgrade is if one go down the conversion track?

Thanks!

Hello

I think this more an option of keeping them in service with minimum upgrades or doing the full rebuilt.
