need modding help

is there a mod, where i can keep the small nato symbole unit size when i zoom out?
or how to do this?

You could try using 'small unit icons' the manual, page 190 indicates apostrophe/tilde, but that doesn't actually match any key on my UK keyboard - from quick testing it was apostrophe. The downside of this is that unit identification is removed from the icon while the smaller token is displayed.

cant find this key on my keyboard, which is shown in the manual.
i tried some other keys, but nothing happend.

What type of keyboard do you run?

GER keyboard

pressing the key under the ESC, the units are hidden (/-recent logs is displayed
in the game task)

pressing this key ( - ) the units are visible.

no small nato icons.

I had no idea what you where talking about so I tried every key on my keyboard. [:)]

Results:
Numpad 0 (Ins) works on a Swedish keyboard.

OK I don't have a German keyboard here so then I recommend you do as Pergite! suggests and just hit eacdh of the keys till you see the icons change. Make sure you note down what the key is and please let us know here so anyone else with a German keyboard will benefit from your investigation. Thanks.

Try this key : (') , (#) , it's the key next to Ä

You can also change the "Eingabegabegebietsschema" (input region scheme) and set it to US/English. This works since Windows XP. The scheme will also memorize your settings for each application. Once you switch to the US/EN scheme (after launching BFTB), it will then switch to US/EN every time you launch/play BFTB.
