Larry is concerned with MY subs? I seem to have a bad case of Sub-itis myself!
He has flooded Pearl Harbor with subs, I'm estimating between 6-10 subs...Then theres the West Coast - I've put every ASW capable aircraft and ship I have there on patrol. I'll post a pix shortly.

More to come, the OPSEC issue slowed things down but now we are picking up steam again and reports should be a lot faster.

Why am I throwing the kitchen sink? This is the reason for the bagging a CA comment earlier... I had 4 subs all in the general area and sent them all... NOT O N E sighting by them...the TF just disappeared! Hyperspace? Warp speed Scotty-san? Where's The Fun???

LOL just shake my head and keep plugging along... I'll gladly sink the TK's and AO's but a warship would do wonders for the morale!

When I'm running my turn, Combat Reporter is essentially the replay in snapshots with writing... For idiots like me, it allows me to Alt + Tab between windows and I can look at what I need to address next. (like the enemy TF reported location would be in the Sea battle directory, reported sightings, Intel reports, etc.)

Its available under mods and one of the designers (Bret) checks frequently on the thread for questions and problem reports.

It allows me to not have so many D'Oh moments and saves a TON on the writing pads I was filling up! All hail Combat Reporter! [&o][&o][&o]

Moo, don't forget your subs can also move supplies.  They can get to places the AKLs can't, but they need to dock in order to unload.  Keep the US ones loaded with torpedoes, you still have a coin flip if they hit the target.  After they deliver supplies change them to Sub Patrol mode and give them a hex for reaction on their way home.  I'd move the long range subs based at Pearl to Australia after Wake falls.  They'll do more good there.

Ok - another thing I wasn't aware of... I thought it had to be subs like the Narwhal to carry supplies (of any consequence). Ive been using the Dutch subs for the hunting in South China Sea, and down the P.I. The S boats have been doing picket duty for me and I got most of them out of Manila... The newer class boats are milling around, I'm trying to guess where Larry is going next and put them there... None to sucessful - so far!

It's good advice - its going to take me around a month to put the subs in place to follow your good advice... I refer the USN subs as the "can't-shoot-straight gang" They have missed so many golden opportunities in A.I. games - I dont trust them now...probably to my detriment.
