Can you guys please help me understand the regimental structure of the UK/Indian army after the reforms of the 1800s? I've been trying to figure it out as best I can but its eluded me so far. There are so many permutations that it boggles the mind. From one battalion regiments (how does that work anyway?) to 6 and more?
