Starting to cool down now....93. Real dry....and their thinking of not allowing fireworks on the 4th. We don't want to end up like the residents of colorado with their fires. I feel for them.[:(]

Yeah, with no rain in sight either. Wait till the full humidity kicks in. You can't hide from it, shade or not.
You have the right idea about the river. Bout the only thing that keeps you from melting.

Yogi I left West Virginia 2 weeks ago, to come back to sunny Florida, it rained all the way down and it hasn't ended yet. Saw a gator on 27N with a sign that said "anywhere where its dry", two of my neighbors had sore throats and went to the hospital and were diagnosed with "Gillous Growist", kids in the hood all have web feet now. oh well such is life in the orange capital of Legoland.

Terrible week to be at any of the theme parks. My logo says Wisconsin because I will always consider that home, but moved to Florida (not too far from Legoland) about 2 1/2 years ago.

Actually I was thinking more of the finger lakes area. I remember people were swimming in may in one of the state parks around there and the water was ICE cold. We couldn't even get the kids in it(nor the adults). Infact we pulled the picknic table out in the sun. Everyone from there was running run and swimming like it was the warmest water in the world.

You need to go jump in lake Erie in the middle of winter...Nothing like kickstarting the old ticker that way.....

Hate the heat.

Dry heat = good
Humid heat = bad

Hey that's funny cause here it's summer and we have the same temperatures. Yesterday it was even 15 degrees Celsius during the day ... [:(] (= 59 degrees Fahrenheit)

Or go to bingo together...

Perhaps we can meet at Dunkin Donots or McDonald's for coffe or Beef's for something stronger some day.

I should warn you that I'm one of those "Active Adult 55+" residents though. No Bingo, probably too complicated for me.
