Nope, not mine. Those things start at $500K. I let the MegaMillions winners buy them and then hire someone like me to show them how to sail it. [8D]ORIGINAL: jeffk3510
Is that your actual boat John?
Looks nice.. not that I know anything about boats other than how to fish out of them and ski behind them..
How did you know what my master plan is, John? When I'm ready to go shopping for my Oyster 82, I'll swing by and pick you up. [8D]
Put a sail on your Porsche and be content. [:'(]

Watched the Lanc and Hurri carry out engine runs today. I love my job! [:D]
And the housing folks have finally sorted out some quarters for the tribe and we move in next week. Alles gut! No more 30 mile treks across Lincolnshire to get to work [8D]
Is that where they rev up the engines and scare the local wildlife?
Congrats on the place. Flat, is it? Or does that only refer to apartments?
It's where we rev the engines and the spotters try to stand in the prop wash and take pictures. [;)] It's strange being at work whilst people take photos of the aircraft I'm working on. It's a strange feeling.
The new place is a bungalow, they'd have a problem putting us in a flat with a two year old and a border collie [:D]
Maybe theyre taking photos of you. You'll be in the tabloids before you know it!

Chickenboy, Dixie, Treetop64 and USS America (+ anybody else who cares to partake) There is a new competition in the Australian Beauties thread. Given that we are about a month from the Olympics, this competition is on that theme.
I have made an initial nomination, and USS Mike, given your admiration for Ms Stoke's finely honed derriere, I hope this first nomination is to your taste!! [;)]
Do you have that swimmer gal who keeps getting abused for posting bikini pictires?
Who is that then? Do you have a name or at least a nationality - and will she be in the Olympics?

If so, I think that my argument is still valid. I think that you have a case against him only because he acts the way he does.
I think you fail to grasp the situation. rather than polute the thread, feel free to PM me.

WE here in coffee land only have a detached nose section of a Lanc.
It does not leave the ground.
We do however have a flyable Spit and Hurricane. so PPPPPFFFFTHTHTHTHTHTHTHT

Boat racing is fun, and if you do it right, you get really, really wet.ORIGINAL: Onime No Kyo
John! That guy is about to fall off the boat!!!! [X(][:D]
There's a 'droop hike' technique that the poor bastage on the 46 boat is doing. The pic is 10 meters short of the weather mark. The old fat guy on the 21 boat is detached from the trapeze, cause he knows they 'rule' the pack and he's gotta scramble inboard and do the spinnaker thing in about 3 seconds.
The next one down, think it was the 33 boat (the blue cap), is getting horridly gassed, but was up (high) enough (on the layline) to slow down and follow the 21 boat around like a good little puppy.
The 46 boat is in some deep yogurt. Low on the layline, with everybody above them gassing them unmercifully. Poor fellow had to do every bit of pumping and ooching and all the body kinetiks he knew (Oh, please, God, just 3 more meters of lift. I promise I will never look at that 16 year old ever again, just 3 more meters of lift, God; oh no .. no .. one more, one more ..) Brad didn't make it. Had to spin and tuck into the layline parade in 15th.
Meanwhile, the old fat man got the kite up and the 21 boat is hauling some serious ass on the low line. The old fat man is hooked back up so if they have to go hot he can hop the trapeze and straighten them right out. Stretching, stretching, stretching on the low line as long as they can. Because them as follows "have" to go high. And Newton said 'them as goes up .. must eventually come down'. So, in that race of the 2010 Worlds, the 21 boat got a third.
