Visible evidence of impact of bombardment or air bombing

Post by garywjamison »

Dear Fellow Gamers:

I have just gone through the land campaign in the Philipines. After about 30 to 45 days the Japanese had knocked out all the airfields.

The Japanese then proceeded to bombard and attack with airplane bombers Manila and Clark airfield for several months with little or no visible effect. Where do you look to see the impact of artillery or airplane bombs on your defending units? Is this shown under disruption or fatigue?

When you are attacking how can you tell the impact on the enemy?

Disruption yes.

However most of the air attacks you will experience are not CAS. They will be airfield or port attacks. For those the effect is primarily directed at damaging the respective infrastructure. The damage inflicted can be seen on the base screen which will detail the percentage damaged state of the airfield or port.
