Germany's taxes are higher. But I'd propably go over the big pond for way less then I can make now.

You guys get more for it. Aside from the nebulous concepts of "infrastructure" and such, I will never see a direct result of the money I pay.

If you pay up to 80% in taxes, you have to get "something" - like extensive regulations, a lot of control... did I mention regulations?

Dood, I live in a city thats trying to regulate the size of soda you can buy. You dont need to pay taxes to get regulation. Its free.

Very true. I get all these pictures sent to me from my ol' man up north. Can't wait to get up there myself next week. Will be funny to see how big they are then. Ah well, I get at least a couple of weeks with the little devils before they ship to their new owners [:'(][:)]

That job has its ups and downs [;)] This example was from 2008 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure .. the 5 figure bill I speak of was BARGE 2008 involving Bill Chen and Andy Bloch .. Though my moniker here is my Poker Stars moniker "Crackaces " I also use "Adb Iceman" as in David "ABD Iceman" Trinidad .. No real big wins although ...

In the context of this conversation "ADB" is short for "alt druken bastards" I will drink to that!!

They are always given away way too early.

Our dog had 9 of them and we couldn't sell one of them for three months. You should've seen how her mother trained her, played with her - she even got house-trained through her mother!

A customer once tried to convince me to play poker. He was sure I'd be a pro soon. I don't knoe how he got that notion (and no, he didn't want to play me on the way - for money [;)]).

I still don't play.

I tried playing Hold'Em for actual money once. Although I did make some dude cry (he was drunk as a monkey and I pulled a third king on the river) it was the most nerve wracking experience I have ever had. No mas. [:-]

Last time I was in Vegas I smoked about 3 packs a day. Lets just say the then-GFU was not thrilled, although I suspect that at least half a pack a day was on her tally. [:D]
