which race are they Nik? We bred Iclandic Horses for many years [:)]

the Equine race. [:D]

These two are of the Thoroughbred breed.

The black one is further subclassed as a JAP. (thats Jewish American Princess) Fussy.....prissy.....needs alot of attention and tolerates no rival females.
Is her name Snooky?[:D]

Oh! You didn't go THERE, did you?!? Oh yes you did! [:-] [:D]

equuus is o-declination:
so the nominativ plural is equi!
[:'(]

And why would ask which race that is, when I don't know there are different races of horses? [8|]
Edit:
A false friend...
We call "breeds" "race" in German...

Equid or Equidae are also in widespread technical usage for the group of animals otherwise referred to as horses or related to same.

A false friend? [&:] Definitely lost me in the translation on that one...

So while "Sea" means "ocean" in english, "See" means "lake" in German...

But it seems "race" might technically be right, it is mostly used for humans only.

Interesting Wikipedia article, Historiker...

Particularly this entry: [X(]

For example, the words preservative (English), préservatif (French), Präservativ (German), prezervativ (Romanian, Czech, Croatian), preservativ (Slovenian), preservativo (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese), prezerwatywa (Polish), презерватив "prezervativ" (Russian, Serbian, Bulgarian), prezervatif (Turkish), præservativ (Danish), prezervatyvas (Lithuanian), Prezervatīvs (Latvian) and preservatiu (Catalan) are all derived from the Latin word praeservativum. But in all of these languages except English, the predominant meaning of the word is now condom.

I'll have to make sure that I don't inquire about "Preserves" (fruit jam or jelly) or "Preservatives" (ingredients to add shelf-life of food products) in my food when I'm abroad.

Don't you dirty Europeans have something better to do than link every word to condoms or sex? [:D]
