Carrier w/ zero sorties

Post by NAVLT66 »

My game is in May 1944. I have some carriers with zero sorties. What does this mean? Are they out of ammo and torps? They have plenty of fuel. If they are out of ammo can I do an unrep with AE's or do they have to return to base to get the sorties back to maximum?

In any case, how do I conduct an unrep with AE's?

Thanks for your answers.

Sorties are carrier's bombs and av gas. CAP fighters can still fly, but no offensive missions. You can replenish sorties like any other ship ammo. You just need big enough port or port with replenish ship.

Zero sorties means the need supplies to max back out their sorties....as Puhis has already mentioned.
Life is tough. The sooner you realize that, the easier it will be.

When you get into port, the needs of the carriers may exceed the port's ability to provide for the first day, so you may not see your sorties improve the first day after arrival. If you leave them there for more than a day, you will see the sortie levels come back up.

Low sortie levels mean you're running out of ordinance and av gas.
