I'm finding NE OZ to be a target rich environment. All that patient waiting finally paid off.

What I find interesting about this situation is the two Allied subs nearby, one already parked at Makkasar. What we have here is a situation.

SS Plumber's Helper is still making a pest of himself around my major shipping lanes.

AO Tan 4 is showing up in the sunk ships list so I guess I got her. It took 6 torps though....almost all the torps he had.

Operation Beat-Down isn't showing any Alllied damage this time. It's not going off according to plan.

This raid on Ambon showed no Allied damage either. I may have to resort to expensive ground attacks.

I do wish they would quit going in unescorted. This is yet another expensive Singers raid and it was largely unrewarded.

Note to Jim: Find out which pilot got the hit and award him the Commendation Metal.

My CAP is working and there were no hits. Good job.

The B-17 raids are getting larger and more determined. It's hard to stop a semi-large B-17 raid. My CAP prevented any damage though.

I'm hoping that Jim will eventually run out of fighters and this air was will be over with.

I can't decide if this raid was ineffectual or not. They DID get one ship. But only one ship. I expected more from this raid.

Two ships. Not bad for just 16 planes. Where was the Allied CAP? Maybe there is none.

This is a good strike by the Allies. I'm beginning to think I need some CAP at Kendari.

I don't know how to judge this one. I'm guessing the Catalina's missed the ship and hit the dock where there were personnel milling around. Or something.

Another fairly desent air strike. Half of the ships got hits on them. Okay......I can live with that.

Here's how things went on the ground at Iloilo. Operation "Beat-Down 2" is proceeding slowly.

No damage for either side at Clark Field. I'm going to have to move some more troops in there.

Manila could definately use the infusion of more troops. The damage is almost equal and that won't do.

I need to turn off the attacking at Ambon before some of my people get hurt. More troops is in order here.
