your installing may patch thru in game updater, right?

In all my uninstalls and reinstalls don't think i've seen that message. Before you decide to reinstall, try this again.just double click the 580 exe and run it[pick the folder you install the game too, the default folder is frequently wrong] there will be no clock, it should say it was installed. The in game update screen should open, click install and navigate to where you extracted the may patch,highlight the desc.addpack and open, clock should appear, after that is done then save and play. but do this right after running 580 exe. someone can correctg me if i'm wrong but if your downloaded files are ok this process is all you do.

I just get the feeling your missing a small step that is throwing you off. Is size of your May core patch folder same size as my screenshot?

one more thing if the update screen doesnt open automatically after running the 580 exe., and your game wont start after running the 580 click the file below to start the updater and install the may patch and then hit save and play. the game wont run with the 580 without the may patch.

I always run the game,then go to updater,then install desc addpack like instructed and nothing happens.One more try then thats it.

i open updater in game,saved may patch to desktop folder,yet cant find it to install,no option.I open desktop and its not on list,et when I close all windows it is there[&:]

When you hit your start button on desk top does the game updater show?I downloaded all my updates from here running updater as admin.Instead of of opening the game directly to install updates.

no updater does not show,I have to run game and go to updater in main menu

The only other thing I can think of,is try right clicking on game icon and select file location go to updater widows command prompt and click on that to open updater to install patch.

I right click,hit select (was clicking open before) and when I click the window closes,no option to open or nothing,this is bullshit,as far as I think,the current version download from Plimus should be the latest version.

I have update 308 installed,now when I run the may patch,it gets extracted,but where?And no option to install

I don't know what else to tell you that would help.I bought everything thru Gamersgate,and downloaded everything for the game from my library at the Gamersgate site.As long as I ran the game as admin and right clicked the desc addpacks in the core files everything worked properly.Sorry,I can't be of more help.Not much of a PC tech.,and it took me a week to figure out the proper way and correct order(lots of trial and error[:@]) to download everything to get the game to work for me.

What bunks me is,I have 308,I extraced May patch to seperate folder named may patch on desktop,when i select install may patch changes to core,may patch folder will not install.Also game will not run again.

When I downloaded the May patch I saved it to my APOS folder on my desk top,once there I opened it and extracted it to its own 7c folder in the APOS file on my desk top.
