WITP-AE CG 1 or 2.

Post by MarieHenriette »

Hey folks,

I 'm John, or MarieHenriette for the friends:
I'm French, and I bought this game 6 months ago.
Lots of training, and lots of mistakes later,
I'm ready, at least I think I'm ready for a CG 1 or 2.
Daily turns-Settings, as you wish-HR's to be discussed.
Can give you six turns a week?
Maybe more , if we play two a day?

Well,
It done.
Now find a gentle opponent?

I wonder if you are related to a certain EU French Official?

Sir,

Not to my knowledge, no.
I'm just looking for a gentle player, who will learn me how a "real" CG looks like, I mean versus an opponent, instead of the AI.

Regards,
John

lol, Roger. Had the same thought first but refrained from posting as it has been slightly different style of posting but the postings from the one you and me are thinking of have always been so silly they could only be made up as noone could actually be that dumb as the one that shall not be named under one of his dozen niknames.

Though joining the forum and asking the same day for a PBEM opponent in a related way to post as the dork that shall not be named makes it really suspecious if I would be up for a PBEM.

Guess Henriette will have a hard time finding one. And if so, we probably will take notice if Henriette is who we expect him to be.

Naturally suspicious of anyone who posts and immediately asks for a game with no established presence here, plus there are similarities in the phrasing......and as for the name....

Gentlemen,

I understand your suspicions.

Though I can assure you:
-It's PBEM
-I play thil the end of the game, the AI was rather soft when he won.
-I just want a simple CG 1 or 2.
My opponent sets the settings, as I dont know the impact of certain switches , on the game.

If you want more:
My real name John De Gelder.
I have a cottage close to Bordeax, the wine region:)

At your disposal , if you want to know more,
Else, is there another place to learn this game PBEM?

John.

I think the correct spelling is Bordeaux. But this is not the main problem [:D][:D][:D]

Gentlemen,

I guess, I will drop my dream game.

All so hostile, especially against new players.

This attitude is intolarable, and I wil report it where I bought it.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Sir, Mister absoul,

I can't think of any reason, why you seem to hate me so much.

Is there no supervisor here?

On my word of honor:

-I will finish the game.
-I'll play CG 1 or 2, any side

The rest can be discussed.

And mister absoul, I prefer that a real postmaster, tells me how or what.

Or do you think, that 1 star makes you the master here!!!!

I demand the final judgement of the Postmaster.

I don't think he's really trying something. His goal is simply bother the forum and draw the attention on himself... some kind of disorder

Listen, Gentlemen

I came here to learn to play a PBEM-game , that I bought here.

Nothing more, nothing less.

So, I maintain my game post.

I have no reason to feel guilty, because some of you, think so.

You could at least , let me try,and if I don't respect the rules, THEN I WILL GO MYSELF, but with the knowledge that I'm not smart enough, for this game.

I'm a noobie too... And don't think I have ever posted here. So I will probably also undergo some "vetting" by the "guardians" of this forum...

I'll play you. I have played a few games of WitP before AE. Not too experienced with AE. I can usually do a turn per day. More on the weekends.

I am really looking for a relaxed game...

Send me a PM

Ok, Larizona

I did send you a mail with the normal settings for an easy game.

I'll look at my mailbox now for your claims.

Then I'll send you the starter, to fill in you code word.

Of, course, if you want the Japs , you will have to do the settings and the starter.

You are my witness, Sir, that we will finish this game.

There may be reasons why this particular 'offer' is being treated the way it is..... they do say experience is a great teacher, but there's a lot of people out here who wold avoid this offer like the plague.

Just a bit of friendly advice.
