Best graphic settings for chits?

Best graphic settings for chits?

I just bought this game and I'm running the 1.6 beta, and I have to say I'm disappointed with the resolution of the chit graphics. Unless I zoom right in they are hard to read and have poor resolution. I wonder if I've got my settings wrong ... any guide to what the best settings are? I'm running the game in 1920x1600 which is my desktop resolution. Thanks!
First wargame: Jedko's 1st edition "The Russian Campaign". First computer wargame: don't remember the name, but it was on punch cards.

Just some more info: I rolled back to the 1.5 patch, and the chit graphics are more or less the same, or even slightly better, so I must be doing something wrong. Any help welcomed.

Try turning bloom off if you had turned that on. I run at 1920 x 1600 and don't find it hard to read the chit numbers at most normal camera heights and angles.
