Fighter intercept problem !

Post by copojax »

Good morning,

I have a problem:
when facing strong divebomber opposition I build a strong fighter force, but my opponent simply attacks first with 1 suicide divebomber (that gets all the CAP) and then goes on undisturbed with his main bomber force.
Is it there a way to prevent this? am I doing something wrong?

Thank you!

I don't know, but I find it very gamey and unsportive to use it as a exploit. There should be a houserule against that.
Anyways, for me Flak is the real plane killer, *especially* at higher lvl's because they get a larger range. 10 Flak in an unit, give it some way of transport, and place them behind your endangered areas. Bingo! Besides Flak is cheaper to build and cheaper to maintain.

Split your fighters into smaller formations.

i ususally have air units of 14 planes each with three of these at an airbase and it seems to work for me, or rather most of the time.
