Spliting Ju-52 unit

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Spliting Ju-52 unit

Post by rjh1971 »

The Ju-52 transport unit has 200 planes, therefore you get a stack limit penalty.
Do any of you know if it can be split in two or more air units to avoid the penalty?
If splited it would be nice to select several air units to carry supply at the same time, I think neither of this two issues are available.

If you want to have for example 4 Ju-52's units instead of a big one, you should operate like that:

1) Go to the OKH HG et set replacement rate to 25% maximum.

2) Create 3 new units for Cargo Transport. It will cost you 2 PP per unit.
Of course, there are empty.
Set them at Prior (or 100%) for replacement.

3) Go to your big Ju-42's unit and set its replacement rate to "disband".

Each turn, your big Ju-52's unit will return 20 planes to OKH HG and they will be sent to your 3 empty unit.
Untill all units have at least 25% of their respective dotation in.
Don't forgett to stop the process of disband otherwise your big Ju-42's unit will be completely depleted.

I am not sure, but I think that would leave you with 4 units at 25% Integrity which would mean they would break or panic at the site of a single plane. Do not hold me to that, but I think that is how Integrity works.
