Standard AP Ordering Issues

Just downloaded the game. In standard AP mode, I cannot select any units beyond the first one. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? I select my first unit in the scenario. I can move and fire with him and the computer responds accordingly, but after my initial unit is done, I cannot left click mouse a unit unit or +/- hotkey a new unit to order. Anyone seen anything like this? Thanks

The game is Conflict of Heroes and is on a Windows 7 machine. I updated everything upon installation. Even went back and downloaded the newest version of the game after installing.

I haven't heard of this. I haven't played in Classic mode though.
Conflict of Heroes "Most games are like checkers or chess and some have dice and cards involved too. This game plays like checkers but you think like chess and the dice and cards can change everything in real time."
