December 25th 1941
* Japanese cruisers Myoko and Haguro are spotted near Sangi by allied PBY Catalinas.
* Heavy airstrikes continue againts Singapore and northern penincula cities.
December 26th 1941
* Japanese forces begin their invasion of Kavieng.
* Kido Butai is spotted by coastal watchers just south of Rabaul.
* Three allied destroyers engage enemy troop convoy near Balabac. Allied ships manage to damage few merchant ships carrying troops.
* Japanese minesweeper TF enters the range of Manila Bay coastal guns. In result five Japanese DMS ships are sunk.
* The 11th PA Infantry division is surrounded at San Fernando. The brave troops continue their resistance.
* Japanese forces capture Temuloh in Malaya peninsula.
December 27th 1941
* AVG downs few Japanese bombers attempting to raid Moulmein.
* xAK Nitiran Maru is torpedoed by PBY Catalina near Aparri.
December 28th 1941
* xAP President Coolidge is torpedoed by SS I-2 near San Francisco. The ship is in the drydocks a while.
* SS I-2 is later that day sunk with minefields near San Francisco.
* Japanese continue to bombard Manila % Clark Field heavily. The first IJA troops enter outskirts of Manila as well.
* Japanese capture Cotabato, Kavieng, Georgetown and Taiping.
December 29th 1941
* Japanese gound assault near Chengting is repulsed yet again. The Chinese 35th corps is putting up good resistance.
December 30th 1941
* CL Naka, DD Samidare, DD Yudachi, DD Harusame, DD Murasame, DD Asagumo and DD Minegumo enter into range of Manila Bay fortress. The whole TF is swiftly sunk by mines and coastal guns.
* DD Yudachi is torpedoed by SS S-38 near Laong. The reports are mixed whether the enemy destroyer actually sunk.
* SS I-170 is spotted near Pearl Harbour and three separate allied ASW TF's engage the enemy. Allied reports indicate that the submarine was damaged.
* Commonwealth Brewster Buffalo fighters defend the skies above Singapore. After furious duels several Japanese bombers are downed and damaged.
* Chinese 35th corps repulse yet another ground assault near Chengting.
* Japanese capture Tsiaotso and Kuantan.
December 31st 1941
* xAK Capillo and xAK Ethel are sunk GM2Nell bombers near Manila.
* H81-A3 AVG fighters defend Moulmein. Reported losses are 1:1 ratio.
* Japanese ships are spotted near Ambon.
* Japanese begin the invasion at Kuching.
