British infantry fire

Post by Texican »

Maybe a triviality, just a unit combat value dispute, but while I can believe that British infantry were the best overall Allied infantry in WW2, and should have a stronger defense and on par initiative with U.S. units, there is no way infantry with Enfields should have equal attack power to infantry armed with Garands. Just no way. Bolt action fire just doesn't measure up to semi-auto firepower in any form.

We are talking, depending on the various map sizes we use throughout the Panzer Corps series, units are representing regiment, division or brigade... sizes with all their support, weapons arsenal and equipment available. So way to abstract to narrow it down to a Lee Enfield versus Garand discussion.
