Task Force Info Screen

Post by helldiver »

Re-hi to all. After two years away, I am starting a new AE game. I cannot remember/find info about the upper left numbers on the TF Info Screen. I think the "Moves (m/c)" portion is max hexes/cruise hexes per phase, right?

What does the "Fuel" side mean? Red/green?

e.g. Fuel "150/152" in red; "(76)" in green...

Pls. tell me if it is in the manual;
TNX for your patience.

It means that you have enough fuel to GET to your destination, which is 76 hexes away, but that you don't have enough fuel for a round trip (which would be 152 hexes) as you have only 150 hexes of fuel provided you don't go into battle speed, which would drop your fuel even further. It's a way of waring you that you will need to refuel at some point or you are going to have a very dry navy (and I don't mean the booze!). Hal

Tnx, dr. hal. Got it. Some multiplication on my part might have been instructive, eh? So much I don't remember...
