The first is a very old article and describes TOAW I from 1998. The second is more relevant.
I love the smell of TOAW in the morning...

Thanks for sharing.
The second article took me one step ahead to learn the complexities of this (amazing) game.

Are these all posted in the 'sticky' here: tm.asp?m=2231803 ?

I'd do it myself only you guys deserve the credit for finding them. The article on 'FOR TOAW BEGINNERS' at http://toaw-iii-review.blogspot.de/ towards the end (along with the following review) I thought particularly useful for beginners. I picked TOAWI real cheap as a throwaway afterthought in a bargain bin a long time ago, looked at it briefly, decided it was too complex, and let it sit for a year. Then with some time on my hands, pulled it out and never looked back (well...).

But beginners DO (and I'd suggest often) give up, and maybe there's room for a 'sticky' thread devoted solely to beginners...
