More and more panzers are committed here, but crisis is over.

Overall good turn here.

Middle part of the German front is idle so I am able to stretch my forces there and sufficiently reinforced Moscow area.

Not many troops are committed by both sides so little is happening here.

Great trek to the south.

Bad luck (Tank corps attacks) and limited movement of infantry divisions made my position in far south very precarious.

Doom is approaching.

Previously encircled units were destroyed - 4 infantry division (31k), but it wasn't all. Saper went for the kill and committed all panzers from area what enable him to form big pocket.

From bad to worse.

I have to believe that Saper's whole southern campaign is an effort to do something along historical lines, in which case good for him.

The cost though may be failing to take Moscow.

Definitely a good game here.

Moving tanks from Stalingrad area was crucial. I managed to buy a bit of time, hopefully enough to assemble proper relief force.

No action in north and center (only 1 attack in Moscow area), but situation in the south continue to be intense.

Not surprisingly pocket was resealed. Unfortunately Saper managed to herd one tank corps in. To make things even worse he raided rail line towards north-east. My options are greatly restricted now.

Is there anything you can do to threaten his own rear by driving towards Voroshilovsk? If nothing else, it may distract him and buy you enough time to form a more solid defense on the eastern/Grozny side.

Kamil, once an Axis plunge into the Caucuses is in play, you have to fall back to the mountains and the Terek river, you cannot defend forward of this. It's essential to fall back early and fast and rush stuff down there before the rail line gets cut. I should have said something earlier, now it is too late.

If I do it he will punish me thanks to high mobility of German panzers.

Yes, it is. Without proper units density I stand no chance in clear terrain.

I once again underestimated my opponent and this is the price.
