The Tennesseean is showing up on the sunk ships list so I think maybe I really did sink her.

Took some losses getting ashore on Java but we're there now.

I-172 took some hits but none of them are major yet so I think she will stick around some more and see what else happens.

YP-197 is showing up on the sunk ships list so I'm guessing she is really gone for good.

An Allied sub got in close despite my having a PB escort and sunk one of my ships. She shot back and got a hit before she went down
though.

It appears that Jim is moving some boats to Singapore or somewhere. I got a couple of hits on her as we were passing in the night I
guess. My PB is probably going too slow to catch her now though.....I'm going to have to use a DD to chase her down.

The Shooting Star is showing up on the sunk ships list so I'm guessing I got her.

The Aso Maru incurred some major damage in an Allied sub attack and now I need to drive her to Saigon or somewhere to get fixed.

The Mapele is showing up on the sunk ships list so she is surely gone for good.

Operation Beat-Down continues at Manila. Not much damage is being done by these raids but I guess it's better than nothing at all.

More ground action near Kuantan.

The Japs are still taking losses at Port Moresby but they are light this time.

But on the other hand, here's a ship to have taken serious damage and is NOT on the sunk ships list. Wonders will never cease.

I-20 took some damage and is on it's way to the repair shed. I don't have anybody nearby to take up that station either.

Cebu and it's CD guns are showing some more MOXIE and a couple of my ships are hit. Again.

I seem to be attacking way too early still at Manila. I'm going to have to beat down that Allied gaggle before I try attacking again. Some
air raids and maybe if I can engineer it, some ship-to-shore stuff. Maybe.

There was some ground action at Mataram that seems to indicate that more is needed in the way of ship-to-shore or maybe some air
bombardment or something. Either that or just bull my way through more troop losses.

I took a look at the land-based planes just now and noticed that I have a boat-load of them that aren't ready for prime-time still. It's
going to take some time to get some AF dudes to those bases and get them fixed. Jim can have a field-day meanwhile. Lots of them
are in China where I moved some planes to the west w/o really noticing if there were any AF dudes at the receiving airfield. D'oh.

Did I happen to mention the Manzyu Maru? She took a couple of torpedoes and still has about 1500 people aboard and she's limping
to port on fire. May not make it. I don't mind losing the ship so much but I'd hate to lose those people.
