Is there a way to get officers quicker promote to an higher-rank or not?[:D]

Rank doesn't help or hurt you.. other then the command they can hold. A MGen with the same stats as a Cap isn't any better...

seems that when you transfer a pilot to reserve and then make him a squadron leader (by sending the previous leader to the general reserve),
then the new pilot gets promoted in rank

I had a LT Cmdr Kasai and then he was promoted to CDR Kasai when i made him the leader of a new unit
