Deployed forces for campaigns

I am trying to convert some senairos I have developed into a small capmaign. I would like the support units to already be picked and deployed on the map. Several of the provided campains do this, but I can't seem to make it happen. How do they do it?

You buy and deploy the units, then look over on the right for the aux button. Any units you want on the players side in addition to his core units will be aux status.
