Help with moving industry

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Help with moving industry

Post by Dasher »

Hello all,
I have a question for all the experienced players here.
When playing as the Russians. I for the life of me, I can't figure how to move the Russian industry.
I've read previous posts on this issue. But there either very vague or skirt around the issue.
Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance!

1. Be in rail movement mode
2. Click on the city hex where you wish to move industry from
3. Click on the city name in the upper right part of the display - this will pop up the city info display
4. There should now be a list of the industries in the city, the number of factories, and the rail capacity necessary to rail them out.
5. Set the amount (either by clicking on the move/no move button or click on the number to type the number in)
6. Hit the Move button
7. Scroll through the display and click on one of the green highlighted cities to move the industry to
8. You should now be treated to a message that says the industry has been moved.

Hope that helps - this is by memory only so some of the text and such may vary depending on how good my memory is right now!

In step 7 you have to right-click the green hex.
On turn 1 it's impossible to move industry.
