laptop display settings.

got a new HP laptop with a 15.5 inch screen. Can somebody advise me at to the best widescreen settings for this type of machine?

Depends on what resolutions your laptop supports. Just saying it's 15.5" doesn't tell us much. 1366 x 768 is pretty common.

1366 x 768 on my laptop.

I suggest used manufacturer recommended screen resolution. On my 15" notebook I use 1280x800.
