i had this,and that...and and...OH GOSH IS THIS A...NO,btw Marrie had this...
oh wait,its DW forum...let me see what madness i can generate on DW theme..oh yes !2 stations on one planet !will they work,or one will be just like flying decoration leeching on poor taxpayers ?and if they will work,planet bonus will apply to all of them,or only 1 ??
and why cookie technology are so costly and so high tiered ??!AND NO MILK !

If you build one station with just one lab.. to a location with a bonus.. All your labs get this bonus..
And if both stations are finished they will both work.. But jus redesign one station and put more labs on it.. Thats better for the tax payers..

You can build so many Research station on a location you like. But only the first get the bonus from the location.

Thats wrong Canute!

You get the bigges bonus for all stations.

Location A bonus 20%
Location B bonus 30%

You build 2 stations on A and 1 on B.. all get 30%!

so...there is no point building more than one station at bonus locations ?build 1 station on highest and forget about the others,as only highest bonus will apply ?and bonus from this location will apply to ALL stations across the galaxy ?
is there any good if my stations are have 50-100+ labs ?as most of the time max output much bigger than actual output

Like i said in my thread easy way to allways win..

Redesign all spaceports.. Just click on auto design on.. wait a little bit.. Than turn it off. Then edit all stations and delete all labs in the design!
Then redesign a defense station! Build it with 20 labs (hightec for example).. Build it on the position with max bonus.. Put all scientist on it!

And now you get the maximum bonus for the lowest maintanence.. Send some ships to patrol it and build maybe a second only defense station in the near of it.

All your scientists are safe.. and are working good togheter..

you dont need to go through all that trouble, just build regular research labs on the places with the bonuses. add weapons if need be, a mega station takes care of the rest

The maximum bonus apply for your entire empire..

Example 1 BigSpaceportstation with 4 scientist. 10+7+20+6=43%bonus
Local researchstation with 30% bonus
Summary 43% bonus for the entire empire (local bonus obsolet)

Example 2 Defense base with local bonus with 4 scientists on it.. 30%localbonus+43%scientistsbonus
Summary 73% bonus for the entire empire

So you could put all your scientists on a research station too.. but in war the AI attacks often the research stations.. and then you would lose them all.

Thats the reason why I build defense stations with many labs on it.. I save maintanance.. The AI cant put the scientist on other locations.. And I can defend it hard :)
