Apologies once again for the lack of updates. The game is still on, but moving very slowly as Martin is, to be honest, too busy to play this game. I feel a bit guilty about asking him for the game now.

I pushed my 2 CVLs south to New Caledonia from their escort of light forces to Efate after seeing some ships at La Foa and Noumea. They did not get much and none of it was loaded. Now Martin knows where all my CVs are and I do not have a Scooby where his are. The third CVL is nearly at Truk and I am thinking of rushing her south to join the others in case Martin turns up in force.

The two KB tfs are in the same area supporting/covering my Java invasion. I only have one division and a base force ashore at Kalidjati (sp?) and will probably sit tight until I can get more in place. Singapore and Bataan are still holding out so I am a bit short of mobile forces. I moved early to cause maximium disruption and to try to wipe out his aircraft pilot pools. I am hoeing that might force him to bring his navy in range at some point...

Naval shipbuilding has a small surplus and I have plenty of engine development advancement. Bugger all in the way of aircraft, but patience is apparently a virtue...

We could not have played more than five turns since the last proper update so you are not missing much. I wish we were doing 2 day turns. I know they have a couple of big drawbacks, but at least you feel you are getting somewhere...

GBL, that's a level 4 airfield. Station the Yamada Det there and watch the Dutch air force go down in flames while you gain elite pilot after elite pilot. IMO, you don't need KB there. If you have to, break down the division and move one brigade one hex over to cut Java in half. Then, when you get more strength there, defeat him in detail.

Hi Mike

You mind reader, you! The KB is only there to keep his navy away from my transports. It did not help with the damaged Dutch CL that got past the covering force two turns back though... Luckily, there was not too much harm done. How are you finding your return to action? I have not been on for a while so forgive me for asking, but how did your job search go?

Carl my friend!!!

You're gunna post too - yes? Come on - you gotta give us an update!

Truth to tell - I thought you and Dixie had stopped playing. It's too cool to see that your game is still plugging away.

Update por favor?
TTFN,

Mike
