I live just south of Boston and its been quite windy here all morning and raining. My little lampost on my front walk has fallen over. So far the only damage. The store I work in sold out of water yesterday in the panic before the storm.

Monday tithe.
So it turns out that the numbskulls at the office gave us the wrong parking spot numbers. We've been parking in this poor lady's spots all weekend.
Guys at the NY HQ of my company are all leaving the office. They say its pretty crazy out there. Best wishes to anyone in the impact area. [X(]

My guess is, that they wanted to ride the storm instead of leaving the ship in the harbour where it might be pushed against the peer and think.ORIGINAL: Chickenboy

Yeah, but it left Connecticut. You'd think they'd hear about the mother of all storms and either: 1. Return to Connecticut STAT or 2. Put in somewhere else on an emergency basis. Anything would be preferable to 3. Running into the teeth of a hurricane in a sailing ship. [&:]

Well, as stupid americans don't like to think, riding a storm seems to be the measure of choice to prevent this! [8D]ORIGINAL: Chickenboy
