BTW: Ken Follet's new century trilogie mentiones the interventions as well. I've read the first book and loved it, the second one is out now.

Crazy week complete!

We ran ourselves ragged all last weekend moving into the new place, moved in all the stuff, assembled most of the furniture but were generally speaking still living out of suitcases when Sandy knocked out the NY HQ of the company I work for. My network still isnt completely set up so I was working through VPN and other creative means of accessing our and the customer's infrastructure. Even had to work from my parents' house one day. Ended up working 14+ hours a day.

But I work with a great team and an awesome group of people. Everyone pulled together to get stuff done so despite a lot of difficulty and with a whole lot of understanding from the customer there was no major impact to the services we provide. Very proud of myself and the guys I work with.

But if its all the same to the weather gods, I'd really prefer to get back to a nice, boring routine, thank you! [:D]
