Fulkerson (J) vs Moore (A) ( no Moore )

Jim and I have exchanged emails and I now have his latest moves.

First of all there's this naval exchange at Baker Island.

And then there was this night naval bombardment of Midway where I damaged a bunch of planes.

And then there was this night-time bombardment of Cebu:

And then there was this event in which nothing happened. No shoot-downs.......I don't even think they spotted the other side at all.

And then there was this sweep by my Nates over Manila that went awry. The Nates vastly outnumbered the P-40's but they STILL lost
the fight. I'm going to have to ship some Zero's in there to take the place of those Nates. The Nates belong in China where they don't
have any opposition. More training is indicated in this group.

And then there was this sweep by my Oscars of the skies of Singapore. I must say I'm a little dissappointed in my Oscars. They vastly
outnumbered that Buffalo and STILL didn't shoot it down. More training I'm guessing, is needed.

And then the Allies did a sweep of Moulmein using the AVG. I'm lilking the results of this contest. With the new higher altitude those
Nates didn't lose anybody. That hasn't happened since they have been based here. Demonstrating the better advantage of being
at least as high as your opponent when these furballs happen. Maybe the air supremacy tide has turned here today. Maybe my Nates
just got lucky.

And then there was my daily Betty raid on Port Moresby. They tried to time the raid to be attacking out of the direction of the sun and
everything but it didn't seem to help much. But these raids buck up the foot soldiers and it's good for morale. I might even being
scoring some disruption on the Allies or something. These raids give me an excuse to think I'm really making a difference to those foot
soldiers down there. I should stage some more people into there I'm guessing. Maybe after the conclusion of the Gasmata affair.

And while the previous attack was still going on this next event started: My Nells attack Manila and lose one to the Allied CAP.

And then there was this raid and really, the Oscars didn't appear to fulfill a function here since there was no Allied CAP. There was some
vicious flak however and it chewed up my Sallys pretty well. Almost half of them were damaged in some way or another. Maybe one of
them flipped from almost normal to downright deranged. Happens.

And then there is this air-to-ground attack by my Sonia aircraft. It's helping out my troops on the ground as they have it out with an Allied
unit in this hex later in the day, which attack I will speak about in a different post.

And then a bunch of other stuff happened and then the AVG does another sweep of Moulmien and my Nates hold their own. At least
they didn't get slaughtered which is what usually happens. I think this new higher altitude is making a difference in the outcomes of these
furballs. Maybe my guys will shoot down one of the AVG sometime soon.

And then in the skies over Malang one of my Zero's came falling like a flaming leaf.

And then there was this Allied raid on one of my ground units. Where was my CAP?

And then a bunch of other stuff happened and then there was this raid on Singapore by my Nells:

And then a different group of Nells flew against Darwin and failed to score a hit. Maybe they were too high. I'll try them again with an
altitude of 10K and see what difference it makes. So far this operation ( to bomb Darwin strategically ) is a failure to start.

And then there was this ground bombardment at Manila by the Japs:

I'm posting a picture of the location with an overlay of verbage to describe the combat event for almost all the combat events in the hope
that it's bringing the war into sharper focus for you and it's not like me to post the entire combat report but I can if somebody wants to
see it. I'm hoping pictures makes it better for you guys. It makes me later in getting my turns back to my opponents
but it's worth it I think.
