Need some help!

Post by gebo »

I´ve just a few questions and i would very happy somebody could help me:

1.)I´ve made a map (rostov) but i can´t turn the buildings in burning ones, it just works with trees.
If i take the damage icon (small are big damage)in the map editor the buildings are just damaged or completly destroyed! Can somebody please tell how i could manage it that the buildings are burning.

2.) How can i place units (in the editor) so that in the first turn they are destroyed.

3.) Since nearly two weeks i can´t download scenarions, because my comp can not find the server..? Do some others here have the same problem?

Thanks for helping!

Okay Rostov, here we go.

To get a burning building, click in a building, then click in a tree in the same hex.

Then click a large crater. Keep clicking till you get the size of fire you want.

To destroy a unit after placing it, click on it, then type "U". Then type "Y" (yes).

Yes the Game (scenario depot) is down. I have no idea if and/or when it will be back.

I've told David Heath, Director of Operations about this and he is aware of the problem.

Sorry about this last one. It is out of my hands. If you know of a particular scenario/campaign, tell me and I will try to send it to you.

Thanks, Gebo. Got another one coming soon on Fabio Prado's site.

The Limey's get mean when you try to steal their tea (G)!

Glad the suggestions helped. Sorry again about the depot!

Yes they got Very angry about the stolen tea :-)

Thanks for you tip again, it works!

I´m sure your new scen will be as famous as the old one.

*One last question and please a honest answer:

How did you find the map of my "fight of rostov" scenario which i uploaded about the 30 Dez? (hope you know it - just wanted to upload the map but it didn´t work)
What would you make better?? (too big - unrealistic - more cobblestones??)

Want to make a new large town map...

No prob about the downloadcenter - just find your scen and the others at tankhead´s page!

Thanks

It should be mentioned that the destroyed unit will count towards victory points, so you might want to compensate point wise.
