Well, the Nips can have all of my Ginger, but I can tell from your lack of judgement that you saw the Mary Jane first, not Mary Ann. Besides, how old did you say you are?

My radar has detected a raid coming from Raiden at 6,000 feet. I hope he doesn't abort.

go check out the edit I did on post #98

Raiden did abort. Apparently he cannot match my brilliant and sparkling intellect. Or BBfanboy's either. You know, unlike Mr. Romney, we must make allowances for those little people below us.

In particular, my naval officers worship me.
I had to edit this: In particular, my naval officers worship the water I walk on.

Borgnine there looks like a good avatar for someone.
Oh, I can understand why they worship you - just look at how well you are feeding them!
And from the expression on Lt. McHale's face, you are giving them enough beverage as well!

2/12/42  Bataan falls.  Did they leave MacArthur behind?

Sorry this isn't timely, but it is necessary. Is that like a cake falling? Don't make me do my Richard Harris immitation. Blast it, I'm going to do it anyway.

... it took so long to bake it, and I'll never have that recipe again. Oh, nooooo! ...

Oh, I forgot you can't hear me. Consider yourselves fortunate, very, very fortunate. Hmmm, wasn't that song called, oh I can't remember, something Park, I believe. [:D]

Raiden has been doing some house painting at a friends home, I believe. This is why he hasn't joined us in this very serious discussion for a few days, I think. He's still been doing his turns faster than myself. I've been obsessing over pilot training, but that seems to me to be the key to winning this war quickly, or for an Imperial player, losing as slowly and painfully as possible.

Nice segué into MacArthurs Park!

If you're bored waiting for turns, go and see Skyfall, the new Bond movie. He goes to a Casino in Macau which has Komodo Dragons in a pit. Of course Bond ends up in that pit. I won't spoil the movie by saying what happens next.

Yes, I know, there's really nothing to speculate about if I were in that pit. Picture Luke Skywalker in Jabba's pit with whatever that was .... Wait who won that thing again [&:]

That actor with the red hair was in a thousand things, but I can't remember his name. What was the name of this absurd movie? I know I saw it but I donated so many of my brain cells to science so far, I can't remember. What was that I just said? What is science? I can't remember. I just remember someone in a white coat telling me he just wanted to pickle a wee bit of tissue.

That critter would be a Rancor, but since it wasn't Terranian, it wasn't officially a reptile so you don't need to be upset that it had an accident. Serves it right for leaving so much bone litter lying around - a tidier Rancor would have been a live Rancor.

I think the name of the movie was "Father Goose". Carey Grant was the sub's skipper. Despite the unlucky presence of many females on board he did manage to torpedo a truck. And no, I can't remember the name of the red-haired guy either!

Movie was Operation Petticoat, actually quite good for a war comedy, Father Goose was the coast watcher movie I think. (Yes I am a Cary Grant fan)

Father Goose had Cary as a mostly drunk coastwatcher and Leslie Caron as someone in charge of a bunch of school girls. Caron hides all his booze. They manage not to get killed by the Japanese. That's about it. A comedy of course.

You lost those because you haven't captured New York City yet. You will continue to lose those every turn until you do.

4/21/42 The KB is currently off Cooktown and an invasion force is entering the Coral Sea south of Milne Bay, along with a BB bombardment force. I'm thinking they're not headed for Port Moresby this time, but to Cooktown or Cairns, or possibly Townsville. I'm pretty sure he won't come across the mountains to attack PM because those troops will have malaria. I'm sure a landing at PM is not too far away.

As I'm sure you know, the Gorn calendar is somewhat different than your own. To convert, you add 32 then multiply by 5/8 then throw a dart at a Mayan calendar then remembering there are 2.5 Gorn days in a human inch worm apply Pi and there you have it!

There are some Japanese tourists wishing to disembark at PM, and we are doing everything possible to accomodate them.

Unfortunately, as this base is still under Aussie rule, baseball is prohibited and the Nipponese will have to leave their balls on the ship.
