Jim still has a tiny edge at Port Moresby so I still need to move some more people in there but I think the crisis part is past us. Until Jim
has some more people to move in there or something. He bombarded me with some capital ships yesterday, he might do that again, and
until I move some people in there Port Moresby is still an open question. I want that real estate and he knows it. He wants it so he can
base some Warhawks there. I want it so he can't do that. It's important too.

I thought it prudent to unload an AA unit at Buna so as to bolster the air defences at that locale. Just in case Jim gets adventuresome.
I've been missing his B-17 raids here lately. Maybe he had to disband them or something. Or maybe he wants to conserve those few he
has left. Maybe he's using them for naval search off the east coast of OZ. There's a lot of things he could be doing with them if he has
any left. We'll have to ask him sometime what his B-17's are doing now.

Here's the situation at Port Hedland: I've got an E boat and three subs in the same hex where he's got a couple of boats I'd like to sink.
And after this debackle is over the subs can go back to Derby and Broome. To babysit their ports.

Resources from Makkasar are finally beginning to reach Bubble Drop. Most of the resources that the home islands has been receiving
have come from Hokkido and the extreme northeast regions. Now finally, the resources from Java and the Celebes and Sumatra are
starting to trickle up the chain. I expect this load of resources to reach Tokyo in about a week. Soon I'll have the hub and spoke system
up and humming like a well-oiled machine. Maybe.

Diego Garcia is what we in the submarine business call a "target-rich environment". I need to send a bunch more subs out to DG so as to
keep all those Allied ships jumping.

Here's my problem at Port Moresby.......my guys are out of supplies. I've got two Tina's and some Betty's flying in supplies but on bad
weather days they don't get much. I get notices in the Op Report about supplies being flown but I have no idea how much actually lands
in the hands of the troops on the ground. Hopefully, they are getting some. This is why I need to ship in some more people to replace
these guys. They've had enough to contend with for a couple of weeks. Plus, Jim has another ground unit headed to PM and that's
going to put the Allies over the edge and liable to attack me at any time. Maybe I need to bombard PM a bunch more.

Those at Saumlaki are watching the unload of some of the bigger AA guns. The next time that group of Howards comes raiding from
Darwin I'll be ready. They haven't been around lately that I remember so maybe next time it'll be the B-17's. I'd like to catch some of
those B-17's in my AA trap.

TF 91 is docked at CRB sucking up all the resources that CRB has. This should clean out the resources that have reached CRB so far.
I expect to use CRB as a major hub and have spokes that go from there to Hong Kong, Pescadores, the PI islands and that's about it.
Other ships will use those spokes to run their goodies to the next major hub etc. until at last they arrive in the home islands to replace
those that are being used up as we speak. The goodies aren't flowing really well yet but at least there's a rough draft of a plan in place
and running through it's paces. I guesss it'll be about a week until there's goodies in all parts of the pipeline but it's started already.

I'm not sure if I should go to full speed or not on this TF. I'm hoping to deter Jim from colliding with and sinking all my carriers and I'm
wondering if I can't do that by running my ships through his path. He's got the preponderance of quality ships so I'm expecting to lose
some ships here. I'm wondering if I can't save my carriers any other way and I'm not coming up with much. This is the last ace I have to
play in this hand.

I'm asking TF 145 to carry some engineers to Babar to fix the damage there and build up the air field to at least 3 for some bombers.
Babar is the closest base to Darwin so I think it might be important to grab it and build it up as quick as a bunny. I can put some of my
Nell's there to watch the North Coast OZ waters and maybe some Betty's to bomb Darwin or vice versa ( Nell's do the bombing, etc. ).

EDIT: And as soon as they have the engineers unloaded I'm going to task them to go to Dili and load up the Paratroop Division and take
it to Babar to hold it temporarily. They are also to prep for a drop on Darwin just in case. I may need them to put out some combat
brushfires. In other words, it's my reserve when the invasion of Darwin starts, if ever.

TF 150 is one of about 4 TF's parked at Shikuka ( or whereever it is ) and that this one trip for these 4 TF's is going to get the entire load
of resources that Shikuka has. After this I gotta go somewhere else for resources. D'oh. It was a good source while it lasted. I'm gonna
miss it.

Here's what Tokyo looks like busy-wise now. Lots of supplies leaving port, lots of resources and oil inbound. I guess you could say that
all this traffic is what makes Tokyo the most major hub in the system. I'm thinking of adopting the policy of things inbound can unload at
Yokuhoma and things leaving the islands are loaded in Tokyo. Maybe that'll relieve some of the congestion in Tokyo harbour.

I'm expecting to have some KB carriers to Tulagi within about 5 days and I'm just now only starting to get my picket ships out and in a
straight line ( orange in the image ) and slowly headed west. Jim did a naval bombardment of Port Moresby night before last and I'm in
a sort of a hurry to get a fix on the ships that did it. I'm pretty sure they headed for OZ because that's what I would do but I have some
subs in various harbours to see if ships go by anytime soon. When the carrier arrives I'd like to already have searched out most of the
likely hiding places. For all I know he's got them hiding at Horn Island or somewhere. I'm thinking he would have retreated to the safety
of the land based aircraft along the east coast.

Here's the ammo condition of that E boat I have in an ongoing conflict with some Allied TK and AK boats. I'm hoping that the Allied boats
don't have guns and that my E boat will shoot up whatever he has left. I've got some AKE ships near Babar and I can fill him back up
pretty quickly I'm thinking. I want that last ounce of performance from this E boat.......I get that and they will get a week off sometime soon.

I discovered this quite by accident just now. Here's the situation at Wake.....I have too many people ashore. I've got to at least get that
fragment off the island. He's not contributing much and he's part of the overage in people I have. Lemme replace these people with
some other unit and use these guys at Tulagi and surrounding area.

Task Force 258 seems to be having some trouble unloading it's personnel / cargo. Must be because there's no dock at this locale and
it looks like there may be some vehicles involved, which would need a dock and maybe a crane to get it unloaded so um.........I guess
this unit is going to be fragmented for a while. I'll need to replace it of course, and then move it to somewhere that has a dock.

These are my big guns in the SW sector. I'm measuring their travel time to be about 4 or 5 days away from Port Moresby but I think I
should send them anyway, just as back up or emergencies etc. They look to be in okie dokie shape maintenance-wise and it shouldn't
be all that much trouble to recall them as needed. They are through w/ the Cebu bombardments and were about to start them on the
base north of Davao but then Jim went and bombarded Port Moresby w/ me having no big guns down there.

Just in this one port of Hirosaki / Aomori there's like 9 TF's in the line-up to get unloaded. I'm thinking I should send about half of them to
other ports, like those with a circle on them. Maybe that'll get all the TF's unloaded in the shortest amount of time.

TF 294 is going to save the day for me on the east coast of OZ. It's got float planes aboard and that will cut a lot of searching time off
the clock. If those Allied PM bombarding ships are in the area maybe we'll be able to find them. It's important that we find them so the
carrier will have something to do when it gets here.
