this is a little battle..don needs to take 3 small bridges in the middle of Moscow..I have to hold him back:mad:

this is the 5th scen of 7 in the series..so far the score is Don 4+ and M4 Jess 1-

the next scenario will take us back to a large scen with a German Airdrop 1 mile from the NW edge of the city...and as I am sure better reading for you.

Moscow: The German generals had won a decisive battle, not on the field, but with Hitler. In August, the Fuehrer planned to divert a large portion of Army Group Center's panzers south to close a huge encirclement at Kiev. The High Command, after great effort, was able to convince Hitler that Moscow should instead remain the primary objective, and that its capture would result in the total collapse of the Soviet government and infrastructure. In the following weeks, Panzer Group Gudierian made great gains, and by first snow was at the SW outskirts of Moscow. Preoccupied with this front, the Soviet high command was surprised by 3rd Panzer Group as it skirted Moscow to the north with VI Panzer Korps driving southeast, severing the city's lines of supply and reinforcement. The time had come for the final attack. This hypothetical scenario is the first of many depicting 3rd Panzer Group's assault on Moscow. The Germans are flush with victory. The Russians are beaten, nearly out of supply, and desperate.*

Scen 1 (win Jess)

Herr Oberst! We are at the gates of Moscow! Take your Engineers and take the Railway Embankment to open the final road to the city! There is a Panzer section waiting for you at the switch station.*

Scen 2 (win Doom)

Colonel! Quickly get your engineers ready to move out! You are to join the rest of your Battalion and the 535 Infantry in assaulting the airfeild and the surrounding outer city blocks! Good Luck!

Scen 3 (win Doom)

How was your rest Colonel? good, You and your men have done well. As you know the 543 Infantry has had a bad go at taking the Lower Bridge. Your Company has been assigned to assist in the final assault across the Bridge. Korps has support units for you as well. Now get going!

Scen 4 (win Doom)

A Company of the 543 Infantry is cut off in the factory district! Get your men moving and save that Company!

Scen 5 (draw)

The inner city fight is going well, however there are three small bridges crossing the canal and HQ wants them. Take your men and take those bridges!*

Scen 6 (comming soon)

The City is almost surounded! The last heavy defended area is at hand! High Command has ordered a airdrop in the area. There are four drop zones that must be held for the drop! You are ordered to join 535 Infantry and 22 Panzer in taking and holding these zones.

Scen 7 (the last scen)

The Prize is at hand! Take the Krimlin!
